ENVIROLINK INDUCED GAS FLOTATION
CELLS
| OPERATION PRINCIPALS Unlike some other floatation cells, the EnviroLink induced gas flotation cell consists of five separate chambers, each separated by a unique configuration of baffled plates. Two (2) gas/air induction nozzles functioning on the Venturi principle inject fine bubbles each side of the coalescing plates. The exclusive design of the EnviroLink induced gas flotation cells provide a more rapid clarification of water because the expanded surface area of the gas/air mixture results in an increased ratio of coalescing gas per unit of volume. In addition, the advanced baffle system of the EnviroLink chambers enables the unit to take up much less overall space than competitive units designed for comparable throughput rates. |
| Envirolink induced gas flotation cells are completely hydraulic, so there are no internal moving parts to malfunction, thus minimizing the need for maintenance and decreasing the possibility of expensive mechanical workovers. Envirolink's single hydraulic pump requires a minimum of operating power. In addition, Envirolink's expert engineering and technical staff will assist you in the proper operation of the unit and will tune the system for maximum performance. | |
The EnviroLink induced gas flotation cells can process water with dissolved oil to concentration as high as 1000 PPM and clarify it to meet EPA standards. The EnviroLink Unit has proved to be capable of 95% oil removal rate without chemicals. With addition of polyeletrolytes, also supplied by EnviroLink, the EnviroLink Unit has achieved greater than a 98% removal rate.
Envirolink's unique induced gas flotation cells offer major advantages to the oil producer with waste water problems:
